Feature request - Add a quick upload feature

This would be attached to the 'file manager control' and would work similar to the 'upload' tab in ckeditor, thereby preventing a trip to the file manager:
- there is a file browse button to select the file for upload
- there is a button to actually upload the file (could this be combine with the browse button?)
- the file is then uploaded AND immediately placed in the file manager control list
