This may have become an issue back in v2.4.0...is this when creating an order? or is it when trying to edit an order (which is definitely broke until the next patch 2.4.1p6 is out)

It happens when creating an order. As an admin I can add address in Exponent, save it, but it doesn't allow me to then choose if I want to use it as billing, shipping or both. However the address IS saved in the database, in the addresses table. Using PhpMyAdmin, I can then edit the records to get the result I need.

Ok, this has been fixed in the development code which will be released as 2.4.1patch6 in a few days.
