Feature request - Add a flyout sidebar container
Reported by dleffler | January 4th, 2013 @ 09:40 PM | in 2.1.1 (closed)
Not sure which module this would be built under (container?), but have a 'container' which works like the Flyout Login except with a container. Might need a separate one for either side and top/bottom until we convert containers to 2.0 and pick up expConfigs.

(from [359e6ec224c16d81f9a10bf91fbb4a0ea5e16d1b]) Adds a flyout sidebar container view, intended to be a hardcoded module which MUST have a source to appear...mutually exclusive with login flyouts...both YUI & jQuery versions [#842 state:resolved] https://github.com/exponentcms/exponent-cms/commit/359e6ec224c16d81...

(from [55e8abd0c88f941f9faa5af9d6c5d9d344ebf3ef]) Adds a new 'vertical' login view to provide the same display in the flyout sidebar container (and basic usage) as in the showlogin_flyout views, streamlines style formatting to consistenly use the same icons across all our menus/links [#842 state:resolved] https://github.com/exponentcms/exponent-cms/commit/55e8abd0c88f941f...

After some thought, this view might better be a navigation view since:
- the redundant container nesting is NOT intuitive, esp since containers MUST have a source to be displayed (container source in hard-coded theme entry plus container source in actual template/view)
- we can take advantage of expConfig in the Navigation Controller for some options like placement, etc...

(from [f6ee2c53c2cd1c2c11ed1ef3477df14ff0534d04]) Adds new 'flyout sidebar' view to navigation module which allows a SINGLE view (unlike now deprecated container views) with options for placement on left/right and 'scope' of content (global, sectional, or top-sectional) [#842 state:resolved] https://github.com/exponentcms/exponent-cms/commit/f6ee2c53c2cd1c2c...
