Calendar Permissions Bug

A user with create edit and delete permissions for a calendar (2.0.9) cannot delete a recurring event. User is presented with screen to choose all events in the recurring series and after checking "select all" and clicking the delete button the message is returned
"Authorization Failed You are not allowed to perform this operation."
With the switch to the new events module this may be moot but worth checking that it works in the new events module.
