Feature request - Change version check algorithm

We need to be able to set the curl timeout value for our loadData call. Seems to be an issue with version check on login with exponentcms.org being slow.
- CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT
- CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT_MS
