Feature request - Change group_membership definition to facilitate associated objects

If we change the group_membership table definition from 'member_id' to 'user_id' we should be able to associate objects and have the system automatically 'group' users and their groups (has_many, has_one, etc...).

While this would be more efficent for regular users...we'd have to (deliberately) add ALL groups to any admin users.
