Bug: deleting an internal or external page moves to standalone instead of deleting
Reported by dleffler | August 12th, 2012 @ 12:34 PM | in 2.0.9 (closed)
The internal and external alias type pages are simple links to an interal page or web address, they are not a content page and therefore can not be a standalone page.
Though this was noticed in the Navigation module conversion, it appears to have always been a problem. You can't edit either of those types in the standalone manager since it assumes every standalone page is a content page, besides having a standalone page (a link holder) as NOT in the menu hierarchy is meaningless.

fwiw, this is fixed locally and will be pushed up with the navigation controller after a little more testing.
