I can not upload files larger than 4mb :(

Could you please note the version of Exponent you are running (2.0.1, 2.0 beta4, etc...).
You may notice a 'bar' at the top of the 'Upload Files' window. What does it say the "Upload size limit' is? This is determined by two php.ini settings on your server.
- upload_max_filesize
- post_max_size
These should be set to the same size. And they determine the max file size which may be uploaded. I typically set mine to '100M' for 100 Megabytes. If you do not have shell/ssh access to your server, you may be able to have tech support change these settings for you.
