Photo album lightbox effect works only when logged in

With a lightbox set up the gallery works with the effect but only when the admin is logged in. If not logged in as an admin, it opens the photo but as a new browser window, not as a lightbox. When logged, it comes a lightbox effect. This happened with the stable release from the dropbox.

Failure for loading the entire page surely will reproduce it but there may be some caching issue (if the cached site files are not entirely loaded but it remembers it?). How could we force the Exp to download surely all related files? Or can we?
