Off hand, it looks like the menu building routine is crashing. Can you turn on error reporting (in the /framework/conf/config.php file change the DEVELOPMENT line to a 1 instead of a 0) This will then report the warnings and errors being encountered.
What had changed recently? It looks like you might be using a custom menu view?

thanks for the reply, I made the change you requested and get a Fatal error:

I do NOT see any Fatal errors, only warnings, but at least the page develops now where it stopped as it was building the menu before. If you turn off error reporting/DEVELOPMENT, the warnings will not be displayed and it shouldn't affect the page creation.
The warnings have all been eliminated in the newer versions of Exponent (we are at v2.3.0patch3 at this moment). Also, the warnings are likely the result of running under PHP v5.4, v5.5, or v5.6 which enforces 'strict' standards by default. Exponent became PHP v5.4 (5.5 & 5.6) compliant in version 2.0.9. Also v2.0.9 is the first time ecommerce was looked at since the initial stable release.

Thanks,
What happens now is that the settings of the modules are lost, like hide module title, files, etc.
Also in the photoalbum module the thumbnails are missing.
If you need login as administrator i sent to your email the user credentials.
