Assigning Forms 2.3.0
Reported by peters@slx-online.biz | June 3rd, 2014 @ 03:37 PM | in 2.3.0patch3 (closed)
I have created a test form using Site Management --> Manage Site Forms. The options available are Edit, Copy, Design and Delete. There is no mention of how to assign the form to a module.
On a page I have added a forms module. Configure Settings --> Form shows the Assigned form field greyed out, with the note that forms are assigned using 'Manage Forms'. But there's nothing in Manage Forms to assign.
Have I missed something?
Thanks.

- Tag set to form module
- Assigned user cleared.
Though the display is similar, there is an extra column when you pull up 'manage forms' from within the module.
- Go to the page with the forms module
- click on the 'Mange Forms' link/button
- click on the gray button of the form you want to assign to that module, it'll refresh the page and that form button will turn green as selected.

Capture.JPG shows the page that contains the form module, with the configure page open and the greyed out 'No form assigned yet'. There is no Manage Forms button on this page, nor on any of the other tabs.
The only option for managing forms is Site Management --> Manage Site Forms which brings up Capture1.JPG with no option to assign the form anywhere. Capture2.JPG.

You'll need to use the 'Manage Forms' link/button on the web page module, not within the module configuration settings.

w/ jpegs since png's don't seem to work on Lighthouse (actually they do, but you'll need to wait for the refresh to take place)

There's the problem - I don't have a Manage Forms button under the Forms module. Nor any of the other 3 buttons.

What forms module action/view do you have selected? It isn't by chance the 'Show a Single Record' is it?

Action = Show All Records; Content Display = Default

Change the action/view to 'Input Records'. We'll fix the other views to display the controls when a form has yet to be assigned.

I have applied the changes and now have the missing buttons. Thank you, glad I wasn't going completely mad! The line numbers were a few out in 4 of the files, but I inserted at the correct place in the code. Noticed in two of the files there was a <th> tag without the closing > - have fixed this too.
