MP3 File Problem
Reported by nora.mgonzalez | April 22nd, 2014 @ 02:47 AM | in 2.3.0 (closed)
I have a Linux server with Exponent-2.2.3, but I have a problem at the time of the loading of MP3 files. Loaded MP3 files do not play.
Any ideas on the solution?
Thank you!

- Tag set to mediaplayer
- Assigned user cleared.
Is this the media player module or the file download module? What action/view is being used? What browser is being used? Does the media player appear on the screen? Is the mp3 file visible inside the file manager?

I am able to reproduce the issue. A work-around is to change the media module configuration settings and add some 'Player' controls like volume, play/pause, etc...
I'll work to have a better fix in the upcoming v2.3.0 release.

Ok,
- log in as an admin (or a user with 'manage' or 'configure'
permissions for that specific module or page
- go to the page with the 'media player' module
displayed
- on the green menu bar above the module (referred to as
'chrome') click on 'Media Player' to drop down the module
menu
- select the 'Configure Settings' menu item
- on the 'Media' tab you note the box with the 'player
controls'
- click the 'ok' button to save the changed settings
- log in as an admin (or a user with 'manage' or 'configure'
permissions for that specific module or page
