Bug: too many past dates can crash page

If there are too many past dates, exponent seems to get lost (empty page) when displaying the 'Past Events' view which is needed to display the 'Purge Past Events' command. In my scenario, we are talking 1300+ past events

- State changed from “new” to “resolved”
- Assigned user set to “dleffler”
