Feature request - Add (missing) imported files to database
Reported by dleffler | May 3rd, 2013 @ 11:11 AM
Import files only uploads/extracts the file archive into /files, but it might possibly be used to quickly upload a package of files to a site. Currently, the files are simply extracted with the assumption they were exported from the site and the exported database is also being imported. THEREFORE, you must use the 'Add Existing Files' feature of the file manager to add them to the database also after import.
Might be nice to have a user option on import to also add missing files to the database?

Not convinced our current logic is bad...the export/import eql/files is intended to be more of a backup/restore facility and should be used in tandem.
