Feature request - Standardize major modules

There should be some common features/fields amongst the major modules (blog, news, filedownloads, portfolio, & maybe photoalbum) with each having both a poster AND editor, and a publish date (to control date sorting, etc...). This would also need to have various module config settings to determine what date is used to sort and what editor (poster) is displayed.
