Feature request: add message of the day features

Reported by dleffler | 2017-12-06 15:45:20 UTC | in 2.4.2 (closed)

The following needs to be added/fixed in the MOTD module

  • Allow truly random display of messages, instead of only pulling a random message if one is not available for today
  • Create a Bootstrap view using msg-queue type display
  • Only display if message is going to be displayed (except if random message is set)
  • Allow import of csv data with month, day, and message
  • Allow various options for actual text of the 'View Previous Tips', etc...
