Feature request - Should we allow NOT reranking in (some) nested containers?

There was a feature in old school containermodule which allowed some container views to NOT rerank when adding/deleting modules. E.g., in the column views, th module would remain in the assigned column instead of bumping up/down when adding/removing the module in the lower ranked column.
