Windows XP w/ SP3
IE 8, user is only accustomed to using IE, so training on another browser is time consuming currently.
IE is fully updated.
Logging into site works fine.
Adding events to calendar works fine.
If the event exists too far in the future(currently this threshold seems to be May) the user is unable to remove/edit any events.

When going to the month the edit icons disappear via clicking the months at the top of calendar. When clicking the Go to date link, the user is able to go to the month and see the user permission icons, but when trying to use them to edit/delete, the user is returned to start page and the user permissions error comes up.
The work around for this was to ENABLE compatibility mode while editing the calendar.

Next problem.

User is having issues loading icons when editing text. Basically when clicking edit text, it will load the boxes, but no icons. Pasting into the box and saving does allow the user to publish, but ALL formatting is removed.
The work around for this was to DISABLE compatibility mode while editing text. This enabled the WYSIWYG icons to show up and normal editing.
