user plugin conflict

Reported by expNinja | March 9th, 2011 @ 06:24 AM | in Stable (closed)

There is a conflict when wanting to write a plugin for the users module. There is a legacy 'user_address.php' in /datatypes/definitions
Please can we have it removed or ported to the framework?

We should probably just migrate all the /datatypes to framework/datatypes, and datatype/definitions/ to framework/core/datatypes/database/definitions/....

since the installer is getting re-written, it may be a good time to migrate datatypes and defs too...

Check on this to see if we're even using that particular datatype. I'm not sure that we are, I think profile definitions have moved.... If not, delete it. We'll resolve this issue once we migrate all the datatypes and definitions anyhow.

we'll call this resolved since the moving of datatypes to models within the module folder should've fixed it.
